Finned armored resistances are built in the traditional but effective technology consisting of a heating wire insulated with magnesium oxide (MgO) inside a steel tube.

Our products are available in 6.5 mm and 8.5 mm diameter and can be manufactured according to customer's design. Fins can be of two types:

Round fins in AISI-304, 5 mm high with variable pitch.
Rectangular fins with dimensions 50 x 25 mm zinc-coated if crimped or in AISI-304 if welded.

Constant power heating cable

The main feature of this type of cable is an uniform specific charge on its entire length, granting the possibility to manage the specific power independently from the required cable length.
Constant power cables are manufactured winding the heating wire to the phase and neutral wires on which an antilaceration silicone is extruded.
A 10mm section of the insulation is removed each 500mm creating the electrical contact, the external silicone is transparent to enable the detection of the cut points. The product is provided wound in coils, to be cut and finished according to the specific needs with the kit of accessories, which can be provided with the product.
A special metal braid can be added on the external insulation to protect the cable from mechanical stress and improve its thermal distribution. It can act as well as grounding.

Heating element with threaded plug

The tubular heating element on threaded plug is manufactured placing a heating wire inside a stainless steel tube, insulated
by magnesium oxide (MgO).
These products are available with 6.5mm and 8.5mm diameter and can be manufactured according to customer specifications, both in single and 3-phase version.
The heaters are brazed on a AISI 304 plug, with 1” ½ gas thread and a gasket. An IP 65 protecting case in plastic, containing an adjustable and a safety thermostat, is then fitted on it.
The product is equipped with a supply cable and a power light.
The full assembly is provided in single packing, complete with use and maintenance manual.

Heating cable in aluminium tube

The flexible heating cable can be inserted into an aluminium tube and shaped as required by the customer, enabling quick
application, especially in cavities. It ensures good resistance to mechanical stress and guarantees high thermal exchange, especially used in contact with metallic parts which otherwise may damage the insulation of the heating cable (e.g. fins of evaporators).
Depending on the needs of the application, differentiated hot parts can be foreseen in the same heater, so as to optimize
performances.
This kind of heater is specifically suitable to work immersed in water or in environments with high humidity, thanks to integrated cold parts technology and to the specific heat shrinks applied to the aluminium tube ends which assure water proof.

The drum heaters are a special application of etched-foil heaters with silicone insulation, feasible in a wide range of dimensions and powers, according to customer’s specifications. Heaters for standard drums are available at stock.
To enable the fastening, the silicone bands can be provided with adhesive, with hooks and springs or velcro.

This type of heater is based on silk screening of conductive and resistive inks, which are deposited with

different compositions and layers, depending on the electric specifications required, on materials such as PET and PVC.

The flexible heating cables are manufactured by winding a heating wire around a fibreglass core. They can be insulated with different materials such as silicone, PVC and fibreglass. The selection of the materials depends on the working temperature.
